Hi, I’m Rayna.

Have you ever been terrified of the unknown? Of stepping out into the unfamiliar with unrelenting thoughts that you just don’t have what it takes? Did you question whether you had actually heard from God and at the same time wonder if your imperfection is too great for your voice to have any impact? Welcome to my world.

 At 42-years-old, I found myself in the messy aftermath of moral failure, resulting in a complete loss of everything I held dear. Facing the arduous task of trying to rebuild every area of my life, I was on the beautiful journey of recovering from failure. It was a trip I never wanted to take, to a destination I never dreamed of visiting.

Whether we are working through our own and others’ failures or trying to find the strength to push past the confines of our shortcomings, I have learned that God’s grace is sufficient.

My goal is to help you discover God’s amazing grace on display in every season of our lives.  It is about experiencing Him in the ordinary as we journey toward a life of freedom and full restoration.

My prayer is that you will discover the unique outworking of God’s grace in your life, despite any failures, hurts, and challenges you’ve had to endure and overcome. God’s grace enables us all to be full of hope, peace, and joy as we move forward into His irrevocable call on our life.

I am stepping out and doing my part knowing that, as He always does, God will intervene and use my shaky first steps for His glory.

DrawNear™ was birthed out of a vision that God planted in my heart and in the heart of my dear friend Renee, as we would excitedly share with each other all that God was showing us when we sat quietly in His presence. Our desire is to create a time and space where not only worship takes place, but also resting in God’s presence and listening to His voice.

Nothing replaces resting in God’s presence and allowing the truths of His Word to wash over us and change us.  Listening to His voice and responding with our whole heart, is at the center of a relationship with Him.

DrawNear™ is an event designed to bring us into greater intimacy with God through worship, reflection on Scriptural truths, and hearing God’s voice.  It is a time to step away from the clutter and chatter that fills our minds, and come into a peace-filled closeness with our Savior. It is here that we are refreshed and encouraged.

DrawNear™ works well as a stand alone event in a home or church, and can also be easily incorporated into a conference setting.
